2024 WOMEN'S CONTEMPLATIVE RETREATS

We offer a one-year retreat cycle for women who want to get "away" to connect more deeply with God. Women who are

interested commit to a year-long cycle of connecting with God in solitude. The specific dates for our retreats and related activities are below.

Open to all women and young adults who have, or are of the age to have, graduated high school. 

​

Please let us know if you have questions. For the first year retreat cycle called Away, the 2 overnight retreats are mandatory so if you know you cannot make one of them we ask that you wait until the next cycle. 

​

Sign ups for the year officially begin January 1 and close January 31 to give everyone ample time to read the books before the first retreat. So the 2024 retreat season will officially begin Feb 1 with spiritual reading.

April 26 - 28, 2024

SPRING RETREAT
AT CONCEPTION ABBEY

Group Solitude Retreat
2 nights
Friday-Sunday

We go away to Conception, Missouri, to experience our first facilitated retreat time of the year. Includes a significant amount of solitude. There is required reading (2 books prior to the retreat, included in price).

St. Gabriel's Guest House: $195

Extended Solitude Option

1 additional night
Self-directed solitude, another night's stay and 3 meals.

St. Gabriel's Guest House: add $75 for a total of $270

MID-SEASON REFLECTION
IN LEE'S SUMMIT

Place: Local

We gather to continue to build our community of retreatants, and learn from others' perspectives through what they heard from God in the assigned book readings.

FALL RETREAT
AT MOUNT ST SCHOLASTICA

Group Solitude Retreat

Friday-Sunday

We go away to Atchison, Kansas, to experience our second facilitated retreat time, and see first-hand the blue stained glass that inspired the title of one of our spiritual readings. Includes a significant amount of solitude as well as group discussion.

The prices include all weekend meals except Friday night and Sunday lunch:

JANUARY 18, 2025

REFLECTION DAY
AT LAKELAND
 

9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
No cost

A closing day to worship, reflect on what God did over the last year and celebrate together.

Please note: In order to honor our agreements with the wonderful retreat centers, we must ask participants register within 30 days of the retreat in order to secure a spot otherwise rooms will be released. Payments are also nonrefundable.
